CHOCOLATE POTATO WAFFLES

Ingredients

  • 150g Nanna Tate Super Scrumptious Mash
  • 50g plain flour
  • 1 egg
  • 50ml milk
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 20g cocoa powder
  • 30g caster sugar
  • 5g butter, for greasing the waffle maker
For the sauce
  • 75g dark chocolate
  • 75g milk chocolate
  • 25g butter
  • 125ml double cream
  • 1 tbsp caster sugar
  • 50ml milk

Let’s get cooking!

    MIX

    Break the mash into a mixing bowl then add the other ingredients. Beat together with a hand whisk until a smooth batter forms.

    WAFFLE

    Use butter to grease your waffle maker then place batter in the centre and seal, cooking for around 7 minutes until crisp on the outside and fluffy in the middle.

    SAUCE & DRIZZLE

    Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water. Add remaining ingredients and stir until smooth and glossy then drizzle over your waffles and serve.
