Ingredients
For the fries
• 3 medium/large Nanna Tate Potatoes
• 2 tbsp vegetable oil
• 1 tsp cornflour
• 1/2 tsp paprika
• Salt & pepper to taste
toppings
• 3 bratwurst
• 3 tbsp tomato ketchup
• 2 tsp curry powder
• 2 tbsp sauerkraut
• 1 steak
• 200g cheddar cheese, grated
• 100g pepperoni
• 100g brie
• 4 tsp cranberry sauce
Let’s get cooking!
-
Step 1 of 3
cut & fry
Wash and dry the potatoes (no need to peel). Cut the potatoes into fries around 1cm thick. Sprinkle over with cornflour and paprika and toss until the fries are evenly coated then toss in the oil and season well.
Cook in the air fryer for 20 mins at 190oC degrees, shake basket halfway through cooking. When doing multiple batches of fries in the air fryer keep the cooked ones warm in an oven set to 100oC.
-
Step 2 of 3
prep your toppings
Whilst the fries are cooking slice the bratwurst into rounds then fry over a medium high heat for 8-10 minutes until golden brown, then add curry powder and cook for 2 minutes followed by the ketchup. Stir well and set aside.
Heat oil over a high heat in a frying pan. Slice the steak as thinly as you can and fry for 2-4 minutes until all liquid from the steak has evaporated.
Cut brie into small chunks and slice up peperoni.
-
Step 3 of 3
load up
Preheat oven to 180oC / Fan 160oC / Gas 4.
To assemble place fries onto an ovenproof board and layer up 1/4 with the curry bratwurst and sauerkraut 1/4 with brie and cranberry 1/4 with steak and cheese and the final 1/4 with cheese and pepperoni. Place in preheated oven for 5 minutes until the cheese has melted.
